Hi James ,

I have just seen your website while I was looking for electric guitar tutors around my area.

I’m 27 And been playing about two years, all self taught and I really don’t seem to be progressing very well at all.

I don’t really know how to practice, just end up noodling, playing bits of songs and a few scales that I know.

Would be interested to know what availibility you have over the weekends if any !

Hi James. Great site. I am currently studying for my masters at the Royal College of Music in London having graduated there last year. I am studying the classical guitar. In London I currently teach in two primary schools, one secondary school and one independent music school. I am originally from Bournemouth and am returning this week for the summer. Please contact me if you know of any people who would like lessons over this summer – I can teach any age and offer classical, acoustic and electric guitar lessons as well as musical theory. James.

I had guitar lessons for about 2 1/2 years but I quit as the teacher was no good. I tried to teach my self but found this difficult and after 1 1/2 years of quitting I have found I have lost much of the skills and techniques.
